- Abortion Story was created for War on Women as pushback against Dobbs just in time for the upcoming election. It is the personal story of the artist’s abortion when abortion was illegal, done without anesthetic on the washer dryer and in fear of her life. It was created in the hope that her granddaughters will never have to face this kind of choice.
